Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the Android application Eazy Brain, developed by Eazy Company under the application identifier com.eazycompany.eazybrain. It describes information stored locally, information processed by the integrated Google advertising and consent services, and information a user may voluntarily send when contacting Eazy Company.
Data controller and contact
Eazy Company is the public trading name used for the applications and website described in this policy. Where the operator determines how and why personal data is processed, it acts as the data controller.
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to contact@eazycompany.eu.
A separate Legal Notice / Impressum identifying the legal operator and a serviceable business address has not yet been finalised. This privacy policy is not presented as a complete Legal Notice / Impressum.
About Eazy Brain
Eazy Brain is intended for entertainment and personal training through games involving memory, attention, logic, speed, mental math and spatial skills. It is not a medical device or healthcare service.
Memory, attention, logic, speed, math and spatial scores describe performance only within Eazy Brain games. They are not a medical measurement, diagnosis, clinical assessment, IQ measurement or medical advice. Users should not rely on them to assess health or cognitive ability.
Information stored on the device
Eazy Brain uses SharedPreferences or equivalent local application storage. The inspected source stores game results and history, including game type, scores, correct and total answers, response and action timings, difficulty, date, duration and speed score. It also stores per-game and per-variant difficulty levels, recent exercise identifiers and variants, completed Daily Challenge dates, current streak and best streak.
Personal bests, category scores, trends, averages and other progress indicators are calculated locally from this history. Language, sound and vibration preferences are also stored locally. The stored history is limited in the inspected implementation to the 500 most recent game results and up to 100 recent exercise identifiers and variants per game.
These scores, progress records, difficulty levels, Daily Challenge information, streaks, game history and preferences are not associated with an Eazy Company account and are not sent to Eazy Company by the inspected implementation. They can generally be removed by clearing Eazy Brain data in Android settings or uninstalling the application.
Personal details and accounts
No Eazy Company account is required. The inspected application does not ask users to provide a name, postal address, phone number or email address to use its games, and it does not include sign-in, remote authentication, cloud synchronisation or a remote user profile.
Advertising
Eazy Brain uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. The inspected version may request and display an interstitial advertisement after every fourth completed game when an advertisement is available. The advertising SDK communicates over the internet separately from the locally stored game experience.
Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, user interactions, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers to provide and measure advertisements, prevent fraud and abuse, and support advertising services. Advertisements may be personalised where the user has consented and the applicable settings and law allow it; otherwise advertising treatment may be limited or non-personalised. Google’s own policies govern this processing.
The inspected application sends a standard advertising request and does not add Eazy Brain scores, answers, response times, progress, difficulty levels, game history or streaks as advertising-request parameters.
Advertising consent and privacy choices
Eazy Brain uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request current consent information at launch, display a Google privacy message when required, and determine whether advertisements may be requested. In regions where a privacy-options entry point is required, the app provides access to Google’s privacy-options form from its settings.
The consent message and available choices depend on the user’s region, Google’s configuration and applicable law. A user may be able to consent to, refuse or later review certain advertising choices. Eazy Brain does not request an advertisement until the Google consent service reports that advertisements may be requested.
Third-party services
The remote third-party services confirmed in the inspected source are:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads, used to request, display and measure advertising and to help prevent fraud. See Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosure and Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP), used to manage advertising privacy messages and choices. See Google’s UMP information for Flutter and Google’s Privacy Policy.
No separate analytics package, crash-reporting service, Firebase service, cloud-storage service, remote authentication, Eazy Company backend or payment SDK was identified in the inspected source. Google Mobile Ads may itself process advertising performance, interaction and diagnostic information as described above.
Permissions and network access
The main Android manifest declares internet access for Google Mobile Ads and UMP. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, precise-location or notification permission. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may add network-state and advertising-identifier capabilities to the merged release manifest. The exact permissions in the release AAB should be checked before publication.
Contact messages
Contacting Eazy Company is optional and is not required to use Eazy Brain. If a user emails contact@eazycompany.eu, Eazy Company receives the sender’s email address, message, attachments and any technical information the sender chooses to include. This information is used to respond, investigate a reported issue, maintain necessary support records and protect legal rights where necessary.
Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR applies, local processing needed to provide the games and requested features may be based on performance of the service requested by the user. Advertising choices may rely on consent where required. Support communications, application security and reliability may rely on Eazy Company’s legitimate interests. The applicable basis depends on the circumstances and local law.
Data retention
Local preferences, game history, progress, difficulty levels, records and Daily Challenge information generally remain on the device until replaced, removed through Android settings or deleted when the application is uninstalled, subject to any device backup settings.
Google retains advertising- and consent-related information according to its own policies, settings and applicable consent choices. Optional support messages may be retained for the time reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records or comply with legal obligations.
Security
Keeping game and progress information on the device limits unnecessary remote transmission. However, no application, device, transmission method or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Device access, operating-system security and backups remain under the user’s control.
International processing
Google, its advertising partners and email providers may process advertising, consent or support information in countries outside the user’s country of residence under their own policies and applicable transfer safeguards. The inspected source does not transmit Eazy Brain game history or progress to an Eazy Company server.
Your choices
- Review advertising privacy choices in Eazy Brain settings when Google requires the privacy-options entry point.
- Manage the Android advertising identifier and related advertising settings where supported.
- Clear local Eazy Brain data or uninstall the application.
- Choose what information to include in an optional email to Eazy Company.
- Stop using the application at any time.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
When information exists only on the user’s device and has not been transmitted to Eazy Company, Eazy Company does not possess that information and cannot retrieve or delete it remotely. Advertising and consent choices may also need to be exercised through Eazy Brain’s Google privacy form, Android or Google settings.
Children’s information
The inspected source does not ask for a date of birth and does not create a user account. The Google Play target audience, Families configuration and settings used for the published build cannot be verified from source code and must be checked against the release listing, release AAB and Data safety information. Parents or guardians who believe a child has voluntarily sent identifying information in a contact message may contact Eazy Company.
Changes to this privacy policy
Eazy Company may update this policy when Eazy Brain’s features, third-party services or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date.
