Scope and provider
These Terms of Use apply to Eazy Magnify, an Android application provided by Eazy Company. By downloading or using the app, users agree to these terms and to the applicable terms of the platform through which the app was obtained. If a user does not agree, they may stop using and uninstall the app. Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Description of the service
Eazy Magnify turns a compatible phone into a digital magnifier. Depending on the device and app version, features may include live camera magnification, zoom and focus controls, flashlight, frozen images, visual filters, brightness and contrast adjustments, on-device printed-text recognition, accessible reading presentation, text-to-speech, copying, saving and sharing.
The app is intended as a practical accessibility aid. Individual results depend on lighting, camera quality, printed material, language, device capabilities and operating-system services.
Accessibility features
Eazy Magnify includes features intended to make small details and printed text easier to perceive, such as large controls, visual modes, adjustable text presentation, an accessible font option and spoken reading. These tools may help users with a range of visual needs, but no single configuration will be suitable for every person or situation.
No Eazy Company account required
No Eazy Company user account is required to use the app. Preferences, usage allowances and certain entitlement information are stored locally as described in the Eazy Magnify Privacy Policy. A Premium subscription is associated with the user’s Google Play account and is managed by Google Play.
Monthly and annual subscriptions
Premium is offered as an automatically renewing monthly or annual subscription through Google Play. Google Play processes the purchase and displays the price, currency, taxes where applicable, billing period and any trial or introductory terms before the user confirms payment. Eazy Company does not receive the user’s full payment-card details.
Premium access begins after Google Play confirms the purchase and remains available while the entitlement is valid. A device connection and access to Google Play services may occasionally be required to purchase, restore or refresh subscription status.
Renewal and cancellation
Unless cancelled, a subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period under the terms displayed by Google Play. Users can manage or cancel it through Google Play’s subscription settings. Uninstalling Eazy Magnify does not by itself cancel a subscription.
Cancellation normally stops future renewal. Premium access may continue until the end of the period already paid for, subject to Google Play’s rules and applicable law. Instructions are available in the app under Settings → My subscription and in Google Play subscription help.
Refunds and withdrawal rights
Requests for refunds for purchases processed by Google Play are handled according to Google Play’s refund procedures, the purchase terms shown at checkout and applicable law. Users may contact Google Play or Eazy Company at contact@eazycompany.eu if assistance is needed.
These terms do not restrict any mandatory refund, conformity, withdrawal or other consumer right available under the law that applies to the user. In particular, European consumers retain all mandatory statutory protections.
OCR and local processing
Camera images, image adjustments and optical character recognition (OCR) are processed primarily and locally on the device. Eazy Company does not operate a server that receives camera images or recognised text for these functions. Text-to-speech uses the engine selected on the device, which may have its own settings and terms. A user can explicitly choose to save an image, copy text or share content with another application.
Advertising, consent management, Google Play Billing and platform services require network communication with their respective providers. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
Not a medical device
Eazy Magnify is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, clinical monitoring or medical advice. It is not a substitute for professional eye care, healthcare advice or a prescribed assistive device. Users should consult a qualified professional about health concerns and should not rely on the app in emergencies or safety-critical situations.
Lawful and responsible use
Users may use Eazy Magnify for personal, lawful purposes. They are responsible for respecting privacy, confidentiality, copyright and other rights when viewing, recognising, saving or sharing content. Users must not interfere with the app’s operation, attempt to bypass security or payment controls, distribute an unauthorised copy, or use the app in violation of applicable law.
Intellectual property
Eazy Magnify, its name, software, interface, original artwork and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and belong to Eazy Company or the relevant licensors. These terms grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app in accordance with these terms; they do not transfer ownership. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licences.
Availability and changes to the service
Eazy Company aims to provide a reliable and accessible experience but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation on every device, camera, Android version or network. The app may be updated to improve accessibility, add or remove features, maintain compatibility, correct errors, meet legal or platform requirements, or protect security. Eazy Company may discontinue a version or the service where reasonably necessary, taking account of applicable consumer rights and existing paid entitlements.
Reasonable limitation of liability
Users should verify recognised text and visual information when accuracy matters and remain responsible for using their device safely. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Eazy Company is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss caused by use of, or inability to use, the app, or for loss caused by a user’s device, third-party service or failure to follow reasonable instructions.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or any mandatory consumer remedy. Any limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Mandatory consumer rights
Users benefit from all mandatory consumer-protection rights under the law applicable to them, including statutory rights concerning digital content and services where applicable. If any part of these terms conflicts with a mandatory legal right, that right prevails and the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
Eazy Company may update these terms when the app, subscription offering, platform requirements or applicable law changes. The revised terms will be published at this URL with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner where required, and changes will not retroactively remove mandatory rights or entitlements already acquired.
