Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the Android application Eazy French, published by Eazy Company. It distinguishes information processed locally by the app, information voluntarily provided to Eazy Company and information processed by Google services integrated into the app.
Data controller and contact
Eazy Company is the public trading name used for the applications and website described in this policy. Where the operator determines how and why personal data is processed, it acts as the data controller.
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to contact@eazycompany.eu.
A separate Legal Notice / Impressum identifying the legal operator and a serviceable business address has not yet been finalised. This privacy policy is not presented as a complete Legal Notice / Impressum.
Learning information processed by the application
Eazy French processes quiz answers and learning activity to calculate scores and completion status for levels, course sections and topics. It also uses the selected predefined avatar and speech playback settings to personalise the experience.
The inspected app does not require an account, login, typed profile name or contact details for its core lessons. No remote learning database, authentication service, analytics SDK or crash-reporting SDK was identified.
Information stored on the device
The confirmed local information includes the selected predefined avatar, scores and learning progress, scores by topic and level, completed exercises or topics, speech voice preferences, playback volume and the selected interface language. The language preference is stored locally so that the user’s choice can be restored the next time the application starts.
These preferences and learning information remain on the device and are not sent to Eazy Company by the application code. When information exists only on your device and has not been transmitted to Eazy Company, Eazy Company cannot access, retrieve or delete it remotely.
Local application information can generally be changed or reset through the relevant application settings, or removed by clearing the application’s data in Android settings or uninstalling the application.
Permissions
The release manifest includes permissions used for network access, advertising, Google Play Billing and audio playback control. It does not request access to the camera, microphone, precise or approximate location, contacts or user storage. Eazy French does not use the microphone, collect an audio recording or collect GPS location in the current version.
Advertising
The current Android version uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads to display interstitial advertisements to users without confirmed premium access. Eazy French determines the user’s initial premium status before it starts the normal advertising flow. If that status cannot be determined, advertising remains disabled while the status is uncertain.
When the normal advertising flow applies, Eazy French uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request the current privacy and consent status during application startup. Where required by the applicable configuration or regulation, Google may present a privacy or consent form. The application does not request an advertisement until UMP indicates that advertisements may be requested. Google may then serve advertisements in accordance with the applicable privacy signals and choices. Eazy French does not itself force a personalised or non-personalised advertising mode.
Google AdMob and its partners may process information needed to provide and measure advertisements, record advertising interactions, use advertising or device identifiers where available, perform diagnostics, handle consent and privacy signals, and support fraud prevention and security. This processing is carried out by Google and its partners under their own policies; Eazy Company does not necessarily receive all of this information directly.
When Google UMP indicates that privacy options are required, Eazy French displays a “Privacy options” entry, or its translated equivalent, in Settings. This entry allows the user to reopen Google’s privacy form and modify the options Google makes available. The entry is conditional and is not shown when UMP does not require it.
The application does not send learning scores, completed-topic keys, interface-language preferences or avatar preferences to AdMob as advertisement-request parameters.
Premium access and subscriptions
Eazy French offers a monthly premium subscription through Google Play Billing. Purchases are processed by Google Play. Eazy Company does not directly receive the user’s complete payment-card details. Google may provide transaction status, product identifiers and purchase information needed by the application to grant or restore premium access.
The current implementation checks purchase information through Google Play and does not contain a separate Eazy Company purchase-verification server.
Notifications
The inspected Android application does not request notification permission and does not include a notification package or reminder service. The current version therefore does not send learning reminders or promotional notifications.
Third-party services
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads requests, displays and measures interstitial advertisements.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) provides privacy and consent status and, where required, presents Google’s privacy form and available options.
- Google Play Billing supplies product details and processes subscription purchases, status and restoration.
These services operate under Google’s own terms and may process device, advertising, consent, transaction and diagnostic information. See Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
Contact and support messages
Contacting Eazy Company is optional and is not required to use Eazy French. If a user voluntarily emails contact@eazycompany.eu, Eazy Company receives the sender’s email address, message content, attachments and any technical information the sender chooses to include.
This information is used to respond, investigate a reported problem, maintain necessary support records and protect legal rights where necessary.
Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis depends on the activity. Local processing needed to provide lessons and progress features may be based on performance of the service requested by the user. Consent may apply to advertising choices where required. Support communications, security and reliability may rely on Eazy Company’s legitimate interests. Transaction records may be processed or retained where needed to provide purchased access or meet legal obligations.
Data retention
Local application information, including learning progress and the selected interface language, generally remains on the device until the relevant preference is changed or reset, the application’s data is cleared in Android settings, or the application is uninstalled. Eazy Company cannot remotely delete information that has remained only on the device and has never been transmitted to it.
For messages voluntarily sent to contact@eazycompany.eu, the contact details and message content may be retained for the time reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Information processed by Google is retained according to Google’s own policies and the user’s available account, advertising, consent and purchase settings.
Security
Eazy Company seeks to limit unnecessary processing and access to information. However, no application, transmission method or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. This policy does not claim that local information or external communications use a particular form of encryption.
International processing
Google and email providers may process advertising, purchase or support information in countries outside the user’s country of residence, under their own privacy terms and applicable transfer safeguards. Locally stored learning progress is not transmitted to Eazy Company by the inspected application.

- Manage available advertising privacy and consent options through the conditional “Privacy options” entry in Settings when Google UMP indicates that it is required.

Your privacy rights
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, users may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. These rights depend on the applicable law and the circumstances of the processing; a request may not apply in every situation.
When information exists only on the user’s device and has not been transmitted to Eazy Company, Eazy Company does not possess that information and cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.
Children’s information
Eazy French does not require a name, email address or age-based account for its core lessons.
Changes to this privacy policy
Eazy Company may update this policy when Eazy French features, third-party services or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be published at this URL with an updated date.
